The main key to a successful portrait photograph is sincerity. No need for fake body poses, gestures, or facial expressions. Any little budge should be justified. If you want to put a smile on your face, ask yourself a question, what sort of smile should it be? When you’re in love you smile, when you get good grades at school or when you win in a board game you smile too. Think about something that makes you happy and the smile will come out instinctively. If you find it hard, don’t smile, just be natural!

About the project?

The aim of this project is record the human condition to emphasize sincerity and spontaneously. Everyone is welcome to be a part of this project.

What is a Polaroid photograph?

A Polaroid photograph is a term that started to rise during the last two decade as a reaction to the digital photo alteration, in which the photographer asks the model to provide her Polaroids to see how she looks like without photo retouching or filters. A Polaroid is an unedited picture that shows the real you without any photo retouching.

What else?

The resulted photographs will be assessed and submitted to PhotoVogue (www.vogue.com). The vetting is done once a week usually on Monday. This process is merely for the artistic purpose and will drive no profits.
