3-DAY PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP IN HONG KONG
Through this practical experience I gladly aim to help out photography enthusiasts to achieve a full understanding of the photographic process. The structure of the workshop covers both aspects of the form and content.
WORKSHOP HIGHLIGHTS
– Improve your way of seeing things.
– Build up a cohesive body of work.
– Define your photographic identity.
– Overcome barriers and technical difficulties.
FIND YOUR DIRECTION
Photography is your diary, your voice to the world. The way we engage with this world constantly creates our perception where thoughts and emotions are built, evolved and eventually settled to form our artistic vision.
Curiosity is the fuel that pushes us forward to quench our thirst to photography. Keep it up and going. But firstly, decide your direction.
Ask yourself a couple of questions, what kind of photographer you are? and what kind of photographer do you want to be?
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
This 3-day experience comprises 6 hours of theory and practice. Day 1, starts with a discussion about the principles of photography and defining your photographic identity as well as a detailed overview of the basic aesthetics in photography like the composition, framing and lighting. Day 2, is where we put everything into practice by working on a project. Day 3, is the assessment day, in which we look more into the experience, defining cons and pros. The final day is the top cherry of the whole experience. I consider it the most important part.

REVIEWS
Thomas is a passionate and knowledgeable mentor. I’d recommended this workshop to beginners and intermediate photographers who want to get better in photography.
– Julia
Thomas is very informative. His educational background tells it all. He gives you all what you need, when taking photos. If you are photography major, I’d recommend. There are some strict realities, but don’t get discouraged. Just keep in mind about all what he showed you. It’s worth it.
– Dan
Thomas provided good technical info and background, and a clear task to work on. He is very familiar with the city and was quite open, friendly and helpful. Thanks Tom!
